The Role:
As the Front of House Manager, you will be the face of The Barley Mow, playing a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee the front-of-house operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of front-of-house staff, including waitstaff and hosts.
- Manage daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service.
- Develop and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and quality.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to optimise operational efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance and presentation of the dining and bar areas.
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and event planning.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the front-of-house.
- Report to and work closely with senior management to meet the pub’s business objectives.
