The Barley Mow is a large village pub set in the
rural location of Tandridge (Surrey).
We are under new management!
Stephen (Steve) and Nicola (Nicky)
We have a large, fully refurbished bar; a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients; and a large landscaped pub garden – all with wheelchair access.
Our aim is for The Barley Mow to be at the heart of our local community. We serve excellent food, drink and provide regular entertainment such as quizzes, themed nights and live music in a welcoming and safe environment.
We really want to provide a home away from home feel for local residents and as well as our vast selection of beer and wine on offer, we also provide tea, coffee and cake during the day!
We are a family friendly pub and restaurant and welcome children (we have giant outdoor games) and pets, including dogs and even horses! We also welcome hikers, walkers and cyclists and provide the perfect place to have a relaxing break.
We’ve got lots of exciting plans for The Barley Mow, including a BBQ and permanent marquee outside, which can be used for private functions.
We look forward to becoming part of the local community and look forward to building relationships and involving ourselves with The Parish Council, local school events as well as facilitating any functions which the village may wish to hold in our thriving, friendly and fun pub.
A bit about us…
Stephen (Steve) and Nicola (Nicky) are a husband and wife team who both believe a village pub should be the heart of the local community.
Stephen is an actor by trade, but has previously owned and run his own successful bar in Harlow, called ‘The Gods’. He brings a wealth of experience, having run his own bar and also having been the steward at several pubs and clubs in Surrey, as well recently helping to run their local pub, ‘The Greyhound’ whilst the manager was ill in hospital.
Nicola comes from an office background with skills and experience in customer services, administration, sales, marketing and event organisation.
Both Stephen and Nicola look forward to welcoming you at The Barley Mow.
